the bishop walks up the hill from palochora after the church service , the service is held in one of the old churches in palochora, the church is on the left of the bishop , the little grey one [e kerea tou foro ] , and after the morning service a great morning tea is served ....

one of the loviest church services of the summer , the celebration of agia ellessa on the first of july , the little service at the location where agia ellessa was killed , when in kythera try to go to another church service outside of Myrtithia on the 15th august, there are lovely church services all over the island in august and they are very moving and shows the splendour of the greek orthodox christiananity , plus lots of people to meet, some of you dont even go to Myrtithia !!! so out of bars ...
