The Book Of Vilah is an original acoustic band telling a story through song. The bands music is an elegant match of each members background both culturally and creatively and has reached into diverse audiences over the past two years.

The bands music floats on the edge of many styles, with textures woven from gypsy, alternative, world and classical music however remains uniquely original defying traditional classification.

The band at times performs with actor Alex Sideratos who plays the part of ‘Vilah’ in the form of a dramatic monologue. This full show extends the production into a special event which was a highlight of The Greek Festival of Sydney.

The Book of Vilah have just released their debut EP and were honoured to have percussionist, composer and ethnomusicologist Tony Lewis record a track with the band.
