Greek cafes were the pre-cursor to the country's fast-food industry and mostly served everything but Greek food.
The once-ubiquitous "mixed grill" has become part of Australia's official cultural heritage.
Greek cafes were the pre-cursor to the country's fast-food industry and mostly served everything but Greek food.
They were found in many country towns... and often provided employment for extended families.
Now one such cafe has been recognised by the Heritage Board of New South Wales, as part of a broadening of
the criteria for culturally significant sites.
