"The most recently formed Kytherian organisation in Australia is the Brotherhood of Canberra. The first meeting of Kytherians in Canberra with the aim of forming an organisation was held in the house of Mr Nick and Poppy Manolios on Tuesday, 16th July 1985. Those present were:

Present also, was the Antikytherian, Mr Lambros Katsanevas, who made the first donation of $100.00. A subsequent meeting took place on the 18th July 1985 and elected the following Kytherians as the foundation commit­tee of the Kytherian Brotherhood of Canberra:

During the next two years the constitution of the Brotherhood of Can­berra was formulated and the association was legally incorporated in the Australian Capital Territory on the 28th April 1987. The first elections were held on 28th July 1987 with the following committee being elected for a term of two years:

Since then, the Kytherian Brotherhood of Canberra has concentrated on bringing Kytherians together and rendering assistance to those in need. Close association between the Brotherhoods of Canberra and Sydney have developed and they offer each other support. The membership of the Kytherian Brotherhood of Canberra in 1993 was 180".
