For any Kytherian golfers planning to be in Southern California on May 21, you are invited to participate in the 38th Annual Abba Zabba Pete Clentzos Western AHEPA Golf Classic. Please see the invitation from chair Jimmy Christos below:
Hello Friends,
Time is rapidly approaching for the 38th Annual AHEPA Western Regional Pete Clentzos Memorial Golf Tournament. Last year we had close to 50 AHEPAN brothers duke it out for the championship and the right to represent the western region in national finals in Florida. We had 30 guests playing in the stroke format on course # 1 and an incredible 140 more playing in the scramble format on course # 2!
Overall we had close to 244 golfers participating in a memorable day full of fun, food and parea. I am sure old Pete is smiling down at us from the rafters. I hope you were there because if you weren't you missed out on the following: roast pig and lamb on the spit, tri-tip, ribs, lamb chops, pulled pork sliders, Farmer John's hot dogs and sausages, loukaniko, grilled octopus, cigars, beer, scotch, ouzo stations and that's not including the fabulous dinner buffet and banquet!
That's why we call it "Taverna-on-the-Green" so don't miss out on this year's excitement, prizes and surprises.
