I once remarked to my father, Christy Freeleagus, on the lack of appreciation, even ingratitude, I had seen from some of those he had helped, this being a time when I was still young enough to expect that he would receive some little thanks.
He replied with a smile, there is an old Greek saying -
"Kane Kalo Kai Rixte Sto Yallo" - "Do a good deed, and then cast it into the deep."
