The grave site of George and Sophia Fatseas (Phacheas in Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, formerly known as Botany Cemetery. This cemetery is the resting site of many pioneering Greeks and the headstones are mostly inscribed with their original names in Greek. However if searching on the website www.esmp.net.au you will need to use the English version of the name. Where possible find detail on death certificates before searching. Headstones inscriptions can be a vaulable research source when tracing family trees. Peter Makarthis
