Alexander Michael Khlentzos. Student High Achiever. 2001.
Alexander Michael Khlentzos from Armidale High School, at 17 years of age, came top of the State HSC for 2001 in mathematics and biology.
[The Higher School Certificate (HSC) - is the public, State-wide, final exam held for High School students in the state of New South Wales, Australia.]
Alex is one of only three students to achieve a double dux and one of 113 students to receive a merit certificate, presented by John Watkins, the Minister for Education and Training.
Alex is the son of Professor Drew Khlentzos (Logistics at the University of New England, Armidale) and Mrs Phillipa Khlentzos.
He is the grandson of Michael Andrew Khlentzos who is the brother of Mrs Zaphira Caravousanos - the first president of the Kytherian Ladies Auxiliary, and a life member of the Kytherian Association of Australia.
