Congratulations to Mrs Lexie Cassimaty
...who has been invited to Attend Grafton's 73rd Jacaranda Festival as Celebrity Guest.
Lexie, eldest daughter of the late Nick & Koula Langley, grew up in Grafton, on the New South Wales North Coast.
Grafton is famous for its Jacaranda Festival and in 1957, at the age of 18, Lexie was chosen as Jacaranda Queen. This was a great honour and major achievment in the 1950's.
So to celebrate Lexie's Golden Anniversary, the event's organisers gave her the unique honour of being the only former Queen to be invited back as a Celebrity Guest.
Whilst there is always a Guest of Honour (last year George Castrissios fulfilled this role), there has only ever been one other Celebrity Guest.
Congratulations Lexie and we hope that you throughly enjoy the festival.
