Gothic architecture on an Ionian island

This is a close-up of one of the Gothic style windows in the Lancastrian school built by the British at Milapidea near Fatsadika. A similar (but smaller) school stands in the main square of Mylopotamos. Both schools were completed in the 1820s and stand as testimony to Kythera's unique blend of Venetian, British and Aegean architecture.
