Emanuel "O Marmaras" Comino presents his talk on the Parthenon Marbles stolen by Lord Elgin and taken to the British Museum. The English brig, the Mentor, sank near the entrance to Avlemonas harbour in Kythera in 1802 whilst carrying one of the first shipments of sculptures to England. The sculptures were eventually salvaged.
