Barbara and Phillip Chlentzos 1942

Barbara (1922) and Phillip Chlentzos (1916-1944) are two of the eight children of Diamandis (1874-1969) and Yanoula Coulentianos (1886-1942).Diamandis immigrated to the USA in 1898. He returned to Kythera and married Yanoula who immigrated after the birth of their first child. This photo was taken approximately 1942. Phillip was killed during WWII in Normandy, France.
