Vassilis Georgopoulos and wife Panagiotitsa (nee, Margetis)

(Georgopoulos is pronounced Yeoryo-poulos).

Vassilli (Bill) originally owned the Athenian Restuarant in Castlereagh Street, Sydney, which he would later sell to the Karavousanos family. (Sarfiro, known as Charlie Karavousanos).

Panagiotitsa and Evangalia are sisters to Bretos Margetis.

Before Bill came to Australia, he worked as a chef in the kitchen of the palace of the Greek Royal Family. His sons inherited his talent for cooking.
