"Jenny" the donkey enlivened festivities on both days

of the weekend to celebrate the opening of the Roxy "complex" in 1936, which was commemorated in Bingara on the weekend of the 9th and 10th April, 2011.

Jenny" was provided by local, Johnny Wade. (In the blue shirt).

Jenny's temperament was inpeccable.

That is until the smoke alarm "went off" in the Roxy Cinema.

With this strange sound, Jenny "bolted", down the street, with Johhny Wade's son "in tow", unable to restrain the animal.

Only the intercession of Andrew Psomas Coroneos, using some arcane Kytherian donkey magic trick involving the animals ears, caused Jenny to stop.
