The Royal Hotel Warren has been enlarged. Originally, two shops, (which can be seen in the previous flood photograph entry) were extant there, adjoining the Kapsanis cafe. The second shop was a fruit shop owned and operated firstly, by my paternal uncle Peter Hlihlis (Tzortzo)Poulos, and later by my maternal uncle Manuel (Manoli) Belos Coroneos.
This section of the current Royal Hotel, below the "Counter Meals" sign, was were the original Fruit Shop was located.
