Upmarket restaurant.

I believe that it was an upmarket restaurant,as there were white tablecloths and velvet covered chairs. I don't what the menus were, but judging by the cost of a three course meal,at two and sixpence,it was a very, very expensive price for those times. It is inetresting to note that the shop next door was a Chemist shop, and although this was before Dad was married, his two children, my brother George and I, became pharmacists. The shop itself is still there (not demolished??)and sells computer wares.
