Sept 2008. (7) Toki Koizumi, the grandson of Lafcadio Hearn visits Kythera to pay homage to his grandparents.

Even the Metropoliti of Kythera was fascinated by Toki's visit.

Here he is with Ioannis Γ Kasimatis at the airport.

The two are good friends. Ioannis has a private Church attached to his "patriko spitti" which was built more than 200 years ago.

It is one of the Metropoliti's favourite private churches on the island. He has conducted services there.
