I believe here, we are looking across to an area called "Muvro Yeoryanika".

My family lived in the Schoolies in the early 70s when my father came home from Australia. He had to leave when he was 11 to escape the war at the time he lost 2 brothers to the Germans. He came to Australia and worked for his uncle who owned a caravan park and milk bar. He talked for many years as I was growing up about returning to his homeland. I unfortunately stayed in Aust and my whole family moved back to the island .I got to see my father my beautiful sister Athens, my 2 brothers Lucky and George in 2000 after 22yrs It was very emotional. I'm so glad I went because I lost my sister Athens and my Father, if I didn't go I would never of seen them again, and I would of regretted that for the rest of my life. My sister Sofia moved back to Aust. My sisters Rose and Leone moved to Denmark with their husbands. My family moved into my grandfathers home in Platia Ammos several years after living at Karava. That's where I feel my father and sisters spirits are. Unfortunately the home is on the market now.
