north of karava is platia ammos , lovely quiet village with a new seafood restraurant , and a lovely spot to spend on the beach , when it was too windy for the small ferry to dock at a agia pelagia it would come to platia ammos for the passengers to disembark ..today its one of kytheras best kept secrets ,
