Yianni initially married Anastasia Zantiotis - the sister of my paternal grandfather Peter. They had five children, Bill, Steve, Andrew, Eugenia and Grigoroula.
When Anastasia passed away due to childbirth complications, it was suggested to Dimitra, Anastasia's sister, that she marry Yianni to raise the children.
So in around 1936, Yianni married Dimitra Zantiotis. They didn't have any children.
