I wrote to Marina saying that I would think that a couple of my Gavrilis Cousins would be in this picture? They were living in Logothetianica at the time and would be the right age? Does anyone else on the site recognize anyone else in this photo?/

George Mavromati married Murianthi Crethar at Lismore NSW in 1952

Thank you Marina. I wonder if George's grandfather was George Mavromati who was married to Stamatina nee Feros and whether he was related to either Margarita or Manos within the family?

Not sure. George and all his siblings are deceased. He has a relative Yani Malos, who lives in Logothetianika. Unfortunatley my Greek is appalling and he understands very little English, but I would love to find out more of the family history from him. I have also met a cousin, Stella Mavromatis who lives in Karavas...same communication issue.
