I am one of four daughters of Mary Combes/Coombes (Maiden name). Her parents were Anastasios & Spiridoula Combes/Coombes. They immigrated in 1924 on the 'Largs Bay'. They spent their first few years at Tenterfield with Anastasios' brother, George. George, the eldest of 4 brothers had first immigrated in 1912, and had owned the Paragon Cafe in Tenterfield.
