Vrettos Alfieris (1890-1974) was the son of Giorgos (1860- ? ) and Spiridoula Argiri Alfieris (1855-1927) from Potamos. Vrettos married Marigo Theodorakaki (1895-1961) in 1922 in Dubbo, Australia. Zaferia was married to Panayiotis Alfieris. They had several children but only four lived; Evangelos, Demetrios, Katina, and Stella. She immigrated from Kythera to Alexandria in the early 1900's. Her children were all born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt. Panayiots Chletnzos was the son of Giorgos and Spirithoula (Argiri) Alfieris.

This photo shows Dimitrios Firos of Mitata in 1924. Two of his sons, Tony and John, settled in California. Tony never married, and John married Maria Dolores from Spain. Dimitrios' son Theo settled in Australia. Dimitrios' daughter Helen married Gregory Prineas and settled in Illinois, USA. Dimitrios also had another daughter, Irene, who may have remained on Kythera. My Grandparents from my Mother's side: John and Stamatiki Tsaousis (Viaros) with two daughters, Stratoula the eldest is my mother Staratouls Prinea (Now 98-years-old) and her sister Panagiota who married Nicholas Damianos. Taken approx. 1922....
My self portrait, Shortly after my arrival in Australia. It was taken at Grifith NSW in 1952. I was using a Roleicord camera, and a home made enlarger, which I set up at the laundry which I was using as darkroom.
