Viron Protopsaltis has taken over his family's cafe but the high quality of the food has remained unchanged thanks to his mother's capable cookery remaining the backbone of the kitchen. Delicious, honest island cuisine can be found here: pita, rabbit, goat, greens (horta), occasionally fish as well as all the cafe-standards like chops and sausages, salads and chips. Located in the main square in Mitata.

I had lunch there in June (07). The restaurant was recommnended by a buisness owner in Kapsali. Good food - unique flavoring/spices. Conversation was better after the owner realized my mother was from there and I spoke the language... Nick
