California Kytherian Society's Panigiri of the Myrtidiotisa

On October 15, 2006, the Kytherian Society will celebrate the Panigyri of Myrtidiotisa at the Resurrection Church, 20104 Center Street, Castro Valley, CA, with an Artoklasia following the Divine Liturgy. The annual luncheon will be held at 12:45 p.m. near the church at Dino's Restaurant, 3600 Castro Valley Blvd. in Castro Valley.

A special presentation Kytherian Society -- Past, Present and Future, will trace Greek heritage of Kytherians. Updates on the Anastacia Conomos Condas Scholarship Fund will be reviewed as well as a special presentation honoring Stamatina A. Chlentzos on her 100th birthday and dedication to the Society.

Friends and family are invited to this afternoon of filoxenia, fellowship and culture. Bring English textbooks and books to be sent to Kythera to help students learn English. For more information contact Vikki Fraioli
