Ioannis Efstathios Kentrotis

My grandfather, Yiannis Kentrotis, died the other day at age 100 in Thessaloniki. He was born in Asia Minor of Kytherian parents (Eleni Pavlaki from Mylopotamos and Efstathios Kentrotis - his father was a Manousos Kentrotis) and came to Greece during the Catastrophe in 1922, settling in Pireaus and Athens, and then ultimately in a village outside of Thessaloniki called EXOHI, of which he was also president of the community in the years around WWII.
