When Peter Prineas discovered to his surprise that his grandfather, Peter Feros “Katsehamos”, was involved in a country picture theatre in the 1930s, he wanted to know more about it. The result was Katsehamos and the Great Idea, a book that digs deeply into the shared history of Greece and Australia, and the turbulent relationship that existed between Greeks and Australians in the early 20th century.
Peter Prineas is a writer, lawyer and environmentalist.
