My grandfather, Manuel Marsellos was born in Karvounades 2 Feb 1890. His father's name was probably Peter. Manuel immigrated to Australia in 1908 on the same ship as Nick Laurantus, who later sponsored out several members of the Marselos family. The National Archives have records of both men online. Manuel died in Brisbane in 1921, when my mother was 5 years old. Does anyone know anything of the history of this family?
