Hi, I was wondering if anyone has received an email that reads; Hello, My name is mary, i got you from Kytherafamily.net and i want to have a good relationship with you, please i need your cooperation, am yours mary this is my email address (marymabou009@yahoo.com) After receiving 2 emails with the same message I googled and found numerous websites citing this name. They seem to indicate a spammer or hacker with exactly the same message and email address. Erring on the better side of caution I decided to not reply to the email address contained within the message and have since deleted the emails. The original message was posted to 2 photos of my late mother.

Yes, I received about 10 copies of that email yesterday. I believe you are right. that it is SPAM.

Irene, you did a better detective job than I. I received one too - under a photo of my grandfather's restaurant - so you never know where each posting went. It's not only SPAM but probably one of those give-me-money-to-get-money schemes. If you responded and got a reply back, put the reply in your JUNK MAIL.

Hi, have a look under All Recent Entries. The same message has been sent to numerous people who have photos in Vintage Portraits and People.

Hi Irene - I had the same problem, but didn't even bother to check on the person who sent it... just marked the email as spam and then deleted it. Perhaps this raises a security issue for the website? Cheers! Ellena
