The Kytherian Association of Australia, in co-operation with the Centre of Hellenic Literature and Poetry 'Kostis Palamas' of AHEPA, invite you to the following function:

Public Lecture about Kytherian writers in the 20th century, to be delivered by

Professor George Kanarakis.

Dr. George Kanarakis is an Adjunct Professor at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst.

His Research interests are:

The literature of the Greeks of the Diaspora, and in particular of Australia and New Zealand.
The press of the Greeks in Australia and New Zealand. Applied and comparative linguistics.

He has written 14 books. His seminal work - one of the great works on Greek-Australian history - Greek Voices in Australia, uncovered many important Kytherian writers, who had hithetoo been neglected, or were little known within the Kytherian and Hellenic community.
