Hi i was hoping I could combine a visit to Kythera ( where my great-grandparents came from) with the chance to improve my Greek language skills. Does anyone know of any such schools on Kythera? Thanks Nikolas Mavromatis Christchurch, New Zealand

Hi Nikolas, I've been looking at language schools worldwide for a number of reasons and I noticed that there are language schools in Athens, Crete and Salonika that exist for the purposes of teaching foreign students Greek. I think that the University of Salonika also runs a course for foreigners in Greek language and culture. This info doesn't solve the Kythera problem but maybe someone will be able to help you on that score. Regards, Laura Pavlou-Mudie
