LOOKING for some missing links

I'm looking for my family origins. My family name is Venardos. I'm making a family tree and I know that my grandpa Homer had a father name John and he owned a candy store in Alton, Illinois, but I dont know what his brother's name was or who their parents were. Any help would be appreciated.
