Nicholas Gage in the Richmond Room of the Ascension Cathedral's Community Center
The Ascension Historical Society (AHS) is sponsoring a speaking engagement on Saturday, February 2, 2013, from 12:30 to 3:30.
It will take place in the Richmond Room of the Ascension Cathedral's community center, 4700 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland.
This event highlights a presentation by Nicholas Gage, author of Eleni and A Place for Us.
He will speak about his childhood in Epiros during the Greek Civil War and his career in investigative journalism in the U.S.
You'll enjoy a catered, buffet lunch before Mr. Gage's presentation.
If you have any of his books, bring them; he will do a book-signing after the presentation.
The cost is $35 per person, and we have limited seating for only 150 people.
To guarantee your seats, mail a check payable to Ascension Historical Society by November 15.
Print and complete the Reservation Form Nicholas Gage Event.pdf, and submit it with your check.
Don't wait long. This event will sell out quickly.
Hope to see you there!
