MR. N.P. COMINO
Mr. Nicholas Peter Comino, who conducted a café at Warialda for many years, died shortly after his admittance to Warialda District Hospital late yesterday.
He became suddenly ill while having his evening meal at home.
Mr. Comino had been a popular citizen of Warialda.
He was 70.
Mr. Comino was born in Greece, but came to Australia in the early 1930’s.
He returned to his home country for a time during which he was married.
His first two children were born in that country.
Before setting up business in Warialda, Mr. Comino had spent some time at Guyra and Armidale.
Besides Mrs Comino there is a surviving son Mr. Peter Comino and two daughters, Rene (Mrs Nick Calligeros), and Miss Tessia Comino, all of Warialda.
There are also grandchildren.
Mr. Comino’s surviving brothers are Jack Emanuel (Armidale) and Bill Comino (Brisbane).
Two brothers, Chris and George, both formerly of Armidale, predeceased him.
There are sisters living in Greece
Mr. Comino’s funeral will take place in Armidale on a date and time yet to be arranged.
A Greek Orthodox service will be conducted by a Greek priest from Newcastle.

Mr Nicholas Peter Comino died suddenly late on Wednesday night (14 Nov) shortly after his admittance to Warialda District Hospital.
Mr Comino had for many years conducted the Civic Café at Warialda and was a popular citizen of this town. He was aged 70 years.
