Acropolis Cafe Gunnedah, NSW. The Cafe has long since closed, but the facade still announces the name. The original owners were the Melitas Brothers, whose name has always remained on the facade. Kytherians Emanuel Kepreotes and his business partner, Peter Veneris, bought the Acropolis Cafe from the Melitas Brothers, and in the late 1920s they also bought the building. They ran the business until 1945. For more detailed history see entry entitled "Gunnedah, Emanuel Kepreotes, Peter Venardos & Theo Souris - Acropolis Cafe, White Rose Cafe, and Thriftway", in this section.
