"An excellent example of the complete abstraction of design motifs can be seen in a plasterwork decorative frieze on the ceiling of the Orpheum Theatre, Cremorne (Sydney), built in 1934. Although the main element is made up of parallel zig-zag lines, the triangles are filled in with radiating lines". (IIIus. 5)
