The Calokerinos family were honoured to have Hieromonk father Johnfrom the Russian Orthodox Monastery Dungog NSW, present for the Canberra Cafe celebrations. The monastery is part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and New Zealand.

During the course of the prceedings a moving ceremony was conducted, during which father John walked to the four corners of the cafe, and, with oil, painted the sign of the cross in each place.
