Are they visible, those flashes of electric blue wings? The valley is full of the most beautiful dragon flies in many varieties, sit fascinated and watch them for hours...

I think that I shall never see a poem more lovely than a tree...
I've spotted two of the decendants of Amir Ali's lunch plate (see A frog's life), how many can you spot? ps:aren't they sweet?!
Just follow the path down, cross the stream and climb the steps onto the picnic platform and drink from the delicious cool waters, rest and wonder and enjoy the magic and song of the valley...

Could this be the dwelling of “little folk”? magic folk? A sorceress perhaps? I could swear I photographed a little cottage on that slope, but it seems almost magically invisible in the picture…
...and his ghost may be heard as he sings by the billabong...who can see old Amir's face in the water?!

The paved path begins to wind into the valley, a stone bench offers a cool spot to sit and dream, and all the while the magic of Amir Ali surrounds the explorer...
People flow over the bridge as water flows below, the current carries anything from renegade ducks to autumn leaves as it dances over the rocks and runs singing into the valley...

As you set off down the path to the spring you look up on either side at banks of gardens full of colour...
In a tiny grotto by the cafe white flowers grow before hand coloured photographs of one time residents of the island...
From the beautiful new Valentino cafe of Amir Ali look down into the dappled shadows of the valley's gardens...
The beautiful little valey of Amir Ali lies before, and the quires of the tsikadas and frogs rent the stillness...
