agios vlassios, this old church is near the airport,just opposite the diakofti turn off.
this graceville church can be found near karava, she over looks towards main land greece, and clebrates on the 15th august.

one of the most significant churches on the island agios theodoros,celebrates i think on the 12th may. in the late 1800;s meetings were held there to plan up-risings from peasants.
a old byzanine church near the village of zaglanikianika,one of the beauties of the island are the churches,there are so many with different architecture and designs.
ayios yannis this old church is seen on the main road just outside potamos and the entrance to ayios thodoros.
one of day's celebrations at the end of the chuch service the icon is displayed with a procession around the grounds of the church.

the easter of the summer '' tis panayas'' 15th august, public holiday in greece, church in the morning, then lunch with family and friends, then maybe a little sleep in the afternoon, a swim when one awakes, then the big dance at potamo that night, wow what a day it is on the 15th'' xprona pola, to everyone, '' kai to xprono'' !
