One of many Karavas school photo's that exist in Australia and Kythera, but the first to be submitted to the web-site. In a town whose entire population numbers less than 20 in 2005, the number of pupils in this photograph of the junior school is 90.

On the 11th of July 2004, I submitted a photograph of my class taken on the 25th of March 1947. On the 18th of August 2001 (54 years later) at a re-union,three of us met again when this photograph was taken. Left to right, Professor Vassilis Lefteris, Spyro Calocerinos and Yiannis Lefteris.
