Dover Heights, 1995. My father Con, and Jim's grandmother, Aikatereni (Katina), were brother and sister. Jimmy is the youngest son of George Levantis, named after our pro-pappou (great-grandfather) George Dimitri Tzortzopoulos. The Poulos and Levantis second cousins have been good friends all their lives.

Kyrani Chlentzos was the daughter of Efrocene (Venardos) and Haralambos Chlentzos. She was married to George Katsoulis. She had a son Mitso (aka Jim Kastele, who immigrated to Australia, then the USA), and four daughters; Areti who married Dimitri Sofios; Rigoula who married ? Papalianos; and Pascalia who married ? S. I believe this is a photograph of Grigoria Katsoulis Chlentzos with her children; Anna, Viola, and Kostas. We are not positive, but we believe Grigoria was the daughter of Kirani Chlentzos Katsouli, my grandmother, Maria Chlentzos Alfieris’ sister. Efrosini (Venardou) Chlentzou was born in 1830 and died in 1935 at the age of 105. Her parents were Manoli Venardos and Maria Koroneos. Efrosini married Haralambos Panagiotis Chlentzos. They had four children; Kirani (b. 1872); Panayioti (b.1870); Diamantis (b. 1874); and Maria (b. 1881, d. 1968). Kirani married Giorgos Katsules and remained in Kythera. Syd, born 1911 on Kytheria, migrated to Australia when 16 years of age. The last of Metaxia Levonis's children to migrate to Australia, also the youngest. He is now 94 and still has fond memories of his life on Kytheria. Please if any other family members have photos they'd like to share please submit them.
