Xakousti Cordatos (nee Vangi) of Diakopoulianika circa 1935. This photograph was taken when Xakousti first came to Australia. She was around 24 years of age at the time and was living with relatives in NSW. Xakousti was a seamstress by trade. Here she is probably doing some sewing to earn her keep.
Jack (Ioannis) Cordatos of Potamos pictured here with his pet joey. This photograph was taken at the back of the Cordatos Bros Cafe in Hillston, NSW, Australia circa 1936. Jack ran the business with his brother Dimitri. Cordatos was his father's paratsoukli (nickname) his clan name being Theodorakakis

Theodoros and Eirini Tzortzopoulos married in Sydney, Australia around 1920. Theodoros Tzortzopoulos of Karavas, Kythera, migrated to Australia around 1919 Eirini (nee Marcellos) of Fratsia, Kythera was born in the late 1890's. My Father in the center with a couple of aquaintences in front of the Atlas Cafe. Highland Park, Michigan 1920's Quite the dapper looking guys back then.
My father at far left with his first restaurant, the Atlas Cafe opened in 1919, Highland Park, Michigan. Just 3 blocks from the original Ford factory that made the model T. Mr. Ford was a frequent customer at my father's place and they became very close friends throughout his life. My aunt Mary Coucoulis Gavrilys is the lady that is expecting. The rest are unknown to me.
My cousin Theodore P. Panaretos, U.S. Airforce bomber captain in WW-II. He fought on the Pacific theater. Became a fire chief in the city of Detroit. Now retired in the state of Alabama.
Theodore A. Panaretos on the right on D-Day, having parachuted into France behind the lines, with a fellow paratrooper in the U.S. Army. They took the time for a photo before going on with their mission. Grandson of Theodore Panaretos of Potamos, and son of Alex. His mother was Foto Feros of Kythera.
