At the Kytheraismos Conference held at the Hellenic Club in Canberra from 15th to the 17th of September, 2006. Spyro was an indefatigable member of the Sydney Organising Committee for the event. He also serves on the Executive of the Kytherian 4 Wheel Drive Club.
